Network Security Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Consultant to design and implement robust security protocols across our network infrastructure. This role requires deep knowledge of network security best practices, as well as the ability to configure and monitor firewall systems, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.

Responsibilities:

• Assess current network security protocols and identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Design and implement security measures to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Configure and maintain firewall rules and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Set up and monitor SIEM solutions for real-time security alerts and incident response.
• Document all security configurations, processes, and policies for compliance purposes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in network security, particularly with firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Proficiency with tools such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Snort.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus.
