Firewall Administrator (Firewall Management)

We are in need of a highly skilled Firewall Administrator to strengthen our network security by managing and optimizing firewall configurations. This role will involve setting up firewall rules, conducting regular security assessments, and monitoring firewall logs for unusual activity. The ideal candidate should have experience with tools such as Fortinet, Cisco ASA, and Palo Alto, along with a thorough understanding of firewall rule best practices and intrusion prevention.

Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage firewalls to protect network perimeters.
• Monitor firewall logs and respond to suspicious activities.
• Conduct security assessments to ensure firewall effectiveness.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to optimize firewall rules.
• Document firewall settings, rules, and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Fortinet, Cisco ASA, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong understanding of firewall rule management and network security.
• Analytical skills and experience with security incident response.
• Relevant certifications like Fortinet NSE or CCNP Security are preferred.
